Right now:

A Czech mom knitting cat motifs onto her beanies
2 queer musicians jamming in a Bangkok pub
A grandfather writing poems in Luanda
A NY doordasher capturing the city skyline between stops

They all carry two seeds of change:

Creative work they long to share
Communities they belong to

At CarryUsThrough, we help grow them into fields of collective impact.

Creators share their crafts on our non-profit digital marketplace and sell them through auctions and raffles, building

personal income,

community impact &

public recognition.

Every transaction creates two Legacy Shelves

- digital profiles that showcase how creators transform their communities and how supporters fuel that change.

Because we believe the future belongs to communities that support each other.

And it starts with people like you, creating ripples of change that last forever.

cathy's story

IMG_7597.jpeg

When I found myself drowning in depression and panic attacks 8 years ago, I felt firsthand how lonely the western world has become.

The same society that tells us our loved ones are “just a text away” whenever we need them… seems to have forgotten how to catch us when we fall.

8 years ago I had to beg to be admitted to a hospital after a psychiatrist's failed prescription turned my clinical depression and anxiety up, up, aaall the way up.

Just months before, unable to accept that my struggles were not a personal choice, my mom told me to leave her house.

Friends with empty spare rooms kept their distance.

Turns out, we’ve become such minions of individualism that even in a crisis, we  expect each other to handle everything alone, or through paid services.

But one unexpected person stood by me.

Ironically, the very introverted guy I had been dating for like 3 months took me in.

The person who offered me shelter is Alex if you hadn’t guessed.

He had no questions,

no judgment,

no hesitation.

Just curiosity and care when every other safety net failed.

And so, the very independent Cathy I tried to be found that…

these small acts of care are the true glue of humankind.

These quiet choices - they hold our lives together.

And yet, we've built a society that tells us there’s glory in staying apart.

In struggling and making it on your own.

Our success metrics imply that asking for help equals weakness.

We've been taught to turn community support into something we need to jump through numerous institutional hoops to access.

If you know me at all, you’ll realize this far in the story that I decided to do something about it.

I decided to use all the business and scientific knowledge I hold to incentivize community care.

To build up our sense of belonging.

To make our community contributions go viral, make them as popular as reddit memes or tiktok trends.

That's why together, Alex and I (now 5 years married) are building CarryUsThrough.

A marketplace that enables and popularizes community support using the same resources businesses use to make profit.

We’re looking for a first sign from creators like you

- artists, crafters, hobbyists, amateurs, pros -

who want their work to create lasting change.

Because just like Alex's kindness changed my life, your creativity could be someone's turning point.
